Product name | Graco - certain Extend2Fit Convertible child seats |
Description | Graco Children's Products, Inc. (Graco) is recalling certain Extend2Fit Convertible child seats manufactured November 27, 2015, to January 20, 2016. |
Problem | The affected child seats may have the recline label affixed at the wrong location, resulting in confusion about how to use the seat properly. As such, these child seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 213, "Child Restraint Systems." If the instructions are followed as shown, a rear-facing infant could be placed in an upright position and/or a forward-facing toddler could be placed in a recline position. Either scenario may increase the risk of injury to the child in the event of a crash. |
