| Problem | An infant seat carrier that detaches in a crash increases the risk of injury. The infant seat carrier may detach from the base in a crash. As such, these child seats and travel systems fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, "Child Restraint Systems." |
