Product name "Baby Line" crib brackets
Description The recall is baby crib brackets on full-sized "Baby Line" cribs. The plastic "crib-spring hanger brackets" are mounted on each of the crib's four corner posts to suspend the springs by means of hooks. The recall covers those brackets used on 29 models of Baby Line cribs date-coded from June, 1977 through September, 1978. Only cribs bearing the following date codes are involved: 677, 777, 877, 977, 1077, 1177, 1277, 178, 278, 378, 478, 578, 678, 778, 878, and 978. The date code is on a label on the inside bottom of the crib headboard. Problem In several cases the plastic brackets have broken or bent, causing the mattress and springs to drop slightly, resulting in injury to the child.
